Plug and charge

Q1:
Do different sites need to be bound individually?

Bind once to use at other Acon-eco charging stations that support plug-and-charge functionality, no need to bind again.

Q2:
Do all the stations support plug-and-play charging?

Currently, five fast-charging stations offer this feature. The locations include "Keelung Bailiu Street Station," "Taoyuan Dongyong North Station," "Taichung TRA Wuri Station," "Taichung Aimai Shuinan Station," and "Chiayi Zhuqi Station." Additional stations are continuously being added.

Q3:
Is it possible to complete the setup elsewhere first and then use it directly at the charging station?

Binding cannot be done outside of the station. Since the system needs to link information between the charging station and your vehicle, the first use requires you to go to a station that supports the plug-and-charge feature to bind your vehicle. After the initial binding, you can simply plug in and charge at any other Acon-eco station that supports plug-and-charge.

Q4:
Is it possible to cancel the binding of plug-and-charge?

Sure, go to the "Plug and Charge List," swipe left on the bound vehicle, and you can remove it.

Q5:
How do you stop charging when using plug-and-play charging?

There are two ways to stop charging: you can end the charging session at the car, or you can end it through the app.

Q6:
If there are multiple vehicles, can they all be linked?

Sure, one user account can be linked to multiple vehicles.

Q7:
Can discount coupons be used for "plug and charge"?

Currently, Plug-and-Charge temporarily does not support the use of discount coupons. If you want to use a coupon, please first unbind Plug-and-Charge, then select the discount coupon before scanning to charge.

What should I do if I can't successfully bind the plug-and-charge feature?

If you encounter any problems, please call our 24-hour customer service hotline at 1-800-868-885, where a customer service representative will assist you.

Q1:
How do I register as a member?

You can join as a member using just your phone number.

Q2:
What should I do if I didn't receive the verification text message?

Please contact customer service immediately at 0800-868-885 for assistance from a dedicated representative.

Q3:
May I ask what the pricing standards are?

You can view the pricing information for each charging station within the app or check the relevant information provided at the charging station on-site. Also, follow the Acon-eco fan page for occasional promotional offers!

Q4:
What payment methods can I use?

Currently, we accept VISA, MasterCard, and JCB credit cards for binding and payment. American Express is not supported at this time. Other diverse payment methods will be launched gradually.

Payment & Invoice

Q1:
What is the method for issuing an invoice?

In response to global energy saving and carbon reduction efforts, only "electronic invoices" are provided. You can choose from the following three options: 

1. Personal Invoice 

2. Donation 

3. Company Invoice (please enter the company tax ID)

Q2:
How to change the type of electronic invoice?

Step 1: Click the menu to enter the settings page.   

Step 2: Click "Edit" to make your own changes.

Q3:
If the invoice wins a prize, will there be a notification?

Each electronic invoice is stored in the cloud. The system automatically checks for winning numbers every two months and will proactively notify winners via email. If consumers receive a winning invoice notification, they can print the winning invoice at any 7-ELEVEN ibon kiosk throughout Taiwan.

Q1:
What are the charging specifications?

The AC charging station uses the American standard J1772 connector; the DC charging station uses the European standard CCS1 and CCS2 connectors. 

Please refer to the app for the actual equipment available at each station.

Q2:
Does the charging station come with charging adapters?

Acon-eco does not provide adapters; if needed, vehicle owners should prepare them themselves.

Q3:
Will there be an additional charge for parking?

If the station is located within a parking lot, the site owner may charge an additional parking fee. Detailed information will be provided within the app's station details.

Q4:
How long does it take to fully charge an electric vehicle?
Depending on the battery capacity (about 50 kWh for small cars, about 100 kWh for luxury cars) and different charging power levels, the charging speeds vary as explained below:


DC Fast Charging (to 80% charge as an example)

- 360 kW: approximately 15 minutes

- 180 kW: approximately 30 minutes

- 120 kW: approximately 40 minutes

- 30 kW: approximately 2 to 3 hours


AC Charging (to 80% charge as an example)

- 11 kW: approximately 7 hours to fully charge

- 7 kW: approximately 15 hours to fully charge
